Maria College, a private college in Albany, N.Y., announced the opening of its new Center for Academic Innovation (CAI), which includes more than 1,000 square feet of extended reality (XR) technologies to train students in nursing, anatomy and physiology, and human biology.

New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy announced that Dave Cole will serve as the state’s new chief innovation officer. In this role, Cole will lead the New Jersey Office of Innovation, with the goal of driving innovation in the state, as well as improving the design and delivery of policies and services to the state’s residents, businesses, and institutions.
